Michael is the founding member of Duel Purpose. Playing keys has always been a passion of his and his ability to play most any genre of music makes for a great show! He is an avid pun master and loves to hear any "dad joke" you might have for him!

Pierce Hoffman
The man behind the white piano!

Pierce's love of the theater gives him a natural, lively presence onstage and his background of DJing weddings has given him an extensive knowledge of all genres of music! He has even been tickling the ivories since he was in 2nd grade! However, Pierce's biggest attribute is that he really knows how to get a party going!

Zach Dresch
Drummer/Resident Comedian
Zach has been on the comedy scene for a decade... but music runs in his blood! He can name every song from almost any punk, emo or rock album that has ever existed. His natural ability to rock out combined with his comedic talents creates the perfect storm for a heck of a good time. Make sure to send your rock requests his way!
Alyssa Nix
Booking Manager/Fill-in Sound Tech
Alyssa keeps our wheels greased! She juggles inquiries, bookings and fine details all while managing a team of four men! She's even been known to hop on the sound board when she's feeling adventurous.
This girl loves Duel Purpose so much... she married it! Alyssa and Pierce were married November of '22!
Brady Streedbeck
Sound & Light Tech/Super Strong Dude
Brady is a full time wedding DJ and a part time sound tech. He's always ready to lend a helping hand!

If asked, he will tell you he loves music and being born and raised in Sioux Falls... but NOTHING tops his love for his three cats!
Grayson York
Sound & Light Tech/Super Strong Dude
Grayson York works closely with the team to ensure speed and efficiency whenever we have a tight turnaround time for events. His interests in all things music production make him a key part of enhancing the sound and lighting elements at each Dueling Pianos show. Also a USD student, he has been known to spend his free time focused on music production, attending concerts, and volunteering.
